In the Lichtenberg district, a natural experience area (ner) is to be established in the Herzberge landscape protection area. The district councilor for traffic, green spaces, order, environment and nature conservation, Filiz Küllüoğlu, is happy about the opportunity to develop a natural experience in Herzberge. The position of care of the Ner was financed by the Senate Department for two years to implement the project. The nature experience space is intended to enable children to experience undisturbed nature and thus contribute to health care, child development and nature awareness.
The project period is from October 2024 to the end of December 2025 and is funded annually with a maximum of 30,000 euros. Interested parties must submit meaningful documents in accordance with the exact provisions by August 30, 2024.
A nature experience offers both urban ecological and social functions and promotes a sustainable connection to nature. This project in Herzberge helps to make nature more accessible and to raise awareness of environmental protection.
