On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the striking film "The Architects" by director Peter Kahane is on the program. Get ready for a trip to the eventful past of the GDR!

"The architects", often called the last Defa film, takes us into the turbulent times of the late 80s. Raised in autumn 1989 and already overtaken by history at the premiere in May 1990, he tells the captivating story of a group of architects that embodies the last generation of the GDR. Your traumatic striving for socialist perfection ends in disillusionment - a fascinating portrait about failure and the illusions of an entire era!
