On Thursday, November 28th, from 6 p.m., all residents and interested parties are invited to raise their voices for the exciting designs for a new bicycle road. The place of action? The Hans-and-Hilde-Coppi-Gymnasium, where the plans between Hentigstraße, Caesarstraße and Römerweg are on the table. The Lichtenberg district office organized this important event in order to hear the opinions of the citizens and to involve the planning.

The feasibility study commissioned by the district office aims to create safe cycling management - an urgently needed alternative to the busy trescowalle! By November 5, citizens have the opportunity to submit their comments and suggestions via an online portal. These valuable feedback flow directly into the current designs. The study will also analyze the effects of the proposed design variants on traffic and street space. This initiative is based on a decision by the district council of Lichtenberg from 2022 and shows how serious it is by improve the cycling infrastructure.
