The EU's decision regarding the catch rates in the Baltic Sea causes horror! The German Environmental Aid (DUH) raises the alarm! Your criticism of the quotas decided today is unmistakable: Another year the short -sighted fishing management continues, and this has catastrophic consequences for the fish stocks in the Baltic Sea!

Sascha Müller-Kraenner, the penetrating federal managing director of the DUH, is outraged: "The EU fishermen's Minister set exactly the wrong accents!" The profiteers of fishing seem to completely ignore science and reality. Dorsch and Hering, formerly the stars of the German Baltic Sea, are threatened with extinction! They should be deleted from the fishing rates years ago, but instead the quotas were set too high despite alarming warnings.
