The “revolution” in German hospitals announced by Health Minister Lauterbach is being exposed to more and more critics than Farce! The overdue hospital reform, which should do everything better, faces massive hurdles! Experts warn: Instead of de -economizing the care, there is a threat of another bureaucratic nightmare!

After all, the outdated flat rates should finally be defused. Forget that! Now the hospitals are forced to meet additional bureaucratic requirements in order to get urgently needed funds at all. And where is the transition financing? Nowhere! The clinics are literally left in the dark.

Who is left out?

In the legislative process, political tactics were provided about essential specialist policy. The Bundestag decided without important voices! While the government parties, some medical societies and university clinics gave their okay, others - like the federal states and many clinics - were left out. This is a blatant mistake! What about the statutory health insurance companies that are now running against the Sturm project? You should co -finance the transformation fund for over a decade, while tax money remain unused!

In addition, employees in hospitals will soon be on the street when their jobs break away. Clinic closings could push more patients into the outpatient sector, and those who have to pay for this are again the employees - without a clear perspective!

While the political actors like to surround themselves with nice words about the patient's well -being, those affected soon sit in crowded waiting rooms and experience the negative effects of the reform firsthand. The hospital reform, which was intended as a big turn, threatens to sink into a chaos of bureaucracy and political inefficiency. While the heads of government are discussing reforms, those who really affect are in the queue for a long time. Germany, be careful! Here there is a health crisis like never before!
