Körnerkiez in focus: Kiez tour with district mayor on July 3!
The interactive shop in Neukölln invites all interested parties to a neighborhood tour next Thursday, July 3, 2025. The event will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the interaction shop, Jonassstraße 26, 12053 Berlin. District Mayor Martin Hikel and district councilor Jochen Biedermann will accompany the approximately two -kilometer route through the Körnerkiez. The aim of the tour is the presentation of various projects of the district, with some of them already completed, while others are still being planned or implemented. The tour ends on the pulley, Emser Str. 16.
Events like this not only offer an insight into developments in the neighborhood, but also the opportunity to interact directly. The participants can ask questions and exchange ideas with those responsible. The physical well-being is also taken care of on this neighborhood tour; There is coffee, cake and cold drinks.
participation and registration
Participation in the Kiez tour is free of charge, but registration is required because the number of participants is limited to 25 people. Interested parties can register by phone at 030/99284759, by email or via a specified link. For those who could not take part in the tour, an open end in the pulley takes place from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Here those present have the opportunity to ask questions and with the district mayor and other district councilor: to get into conversation.
This year the interactive shop organizes a total of three neighborhood tours with Martin Hikel. Mein Berlin reports that the first Kiez tour took place on May 17, 2025 in Gropiusstadt and the third tour for October 16, 2025 is planned. Details of this tour are still being published.
participation concepts in Berlin
The neighborhood tours are part of more comprehensive efforts to participate in citizens in Berlin. The Central space for participation has developed special concepts for this. These concepts determine how citizen participation works, who takes part and how the results are integrated into existing projects. Such concepts will be published in good time via a link in the digital project list to make it easier for everyone interested.
The Kiez tour on July 3rd offers a valuable platform for the exchange between citizens and the district administration, while at the same time promoting the commitment to transparent and participatory urban design.
