Kiezbürgeramt starts: Citizens' services from now on!
The Office for Citizens' Services Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg starts a new format in June 2025, the neighborhood citizen. The aim of this offer is to promote the citizens' proximity and to offer services directly on site, without prior appointment. District City Councilor Regine Sommerwetter presented the initiative, which should enable citizens to do administrative matters in their usual environment. The starting signal for the neighborhood citizens will be given on June 18, 2025.
Various events are offered in the first appointments, e.g. on June 18 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the neighborhood citizenship will take place as part of the summer festival in CityLab, followed by further dates in various meeting places. On one of the days offered, for example, citizens can claim all administrative services of the citizens' offices such as re -registration after moving or applying for new ID cards. neighborhood citizenship

Not only the classic administrative services are offered on site, but also the activation of online ID functions and the setting of PIN numbers are also possible. The office thus responds to the needs of the citizens and facilitates access to important services.
