A musical child prodigy conquers the stage! The Georgian pianist Giorgi Gigashvili has won the much sought -after music award of the German economy ! This prestigious prize, which has been awarded to emerging talents since 1953, has chosen four finalists this year, but only one was able to impress the jury: our radiant winner!

The grandiose finale took place in the bell in the Hanseatic city of Bremen , where Gigashvili and his fellow campaigners, kidnapped visitors to musical heights. The atmosphere was electrifying and the audience was banned! The top jurors and a huge price

The jury, a top -class body under the direction of Prof. Dr. Tobias Wollermann had the difficult task of filtering out the best musician from the group. The other finalists, rafael adobas Bayog (flute), tjasha gafner (harp) and Guido sant’anna (violin), also gave her best, but Giorgi Stach with his rousing presence and his remarkable ability to cooperate.

The music award not only brings a prize money of 15,000 euros , but also opens up numerous performance opportunities at renowned festivals, including the Beethovenfest Bonn and the Lucerne Festival . born in Tbilisi in 2000, Giorgi Gigashvili made a name for himself at a young age with his passion for music. He appeared in the Georgian version of "The Voice" at the age of only 13 - and won! But classical music has also conquered his heart, and he has made a name for himself in International competitions, most recently at Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition , where he took several prizes home.

his debut album "Meeting My Shadow", published in April 2023, shows a talented musician who is inspired by the great pianists and at the same time finds his very own voice. Now he has the opportunity to show his skills on the big stages, supported by committed partners such as the g. Henle Verlag and the Peter Klöckner Foundation.
