Dog freezing area in Lichtenberg is looking for a godmother or godfather for care and cleanliness until 2024

A new dog free area in Gürtelstraße in Lichtenberg is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2024. The district office is now looking for a godmother or a sponsor who takes care of the care and maintenance of the area. The support of the sponsors will help to maintain the dog free area as a public green area and to provide more cleanliness.

The selected godadipin will jointly set up and maintain rules of conduct with the district office for the use of the dog free area and, if necessary, plant and maintain a part of the area. The district office takes care of waste disposal, provides benches and wastebasket and takes over the maintenance of the green area.

Lichtenberg's district councilor for traffic, green areas, order, environment and nature conservation, Filiz Küllüoğlu, is positive about development: "I am pleased that we can provide the Lichtenberger: inside and her dogs another place to relax and let off steam."
