focus of the series of talks
The series of talks "See" aims to raise awareness of the topic of crime in society, which is particularly relevant, since the RBB program "perpetrator, victim, police" is broadcast weekly on Sundays. The program deals with current criminal cases and developments in the investigation, including theft, break -ins and violent crimes. Spectators are actively asked for help to investigate crimes, which not only promotes interest, but also the commitment of the public. A total of 78 episodes have been broadcast since 2024, with the last episode broadcast in July 2025. This underpins the relevance of the topic among the spectators.
The Berlin police have analyzed the small -scale distribution of the crime burden since 2008 and published the “Crime Atlas Berlin” every two years. This atlas provides essential data and information about the development of crime and is an important instrument for Berlin administration for planning and decision -making. The reports comprise a total of 17 different areas of offense and cover both absolute number of cases and frequency figures for the various districts. Interactive cards enable citizens to not only read the crime statistics, but also to record visually.
For those who need more information about the event or registration, there is the possibility to contact the Mark-Twain library by phone at (030) 54704142 or to write an email to the organizer. Further information can be found on the library's website, which offers a broad overview of upcoming events.
These events and the accompanying initiatives illustrate how important it is that society actively deals with topics such as crime and is ready to get involved in the security in your own environment.
