Generative KI: Design the future of entry careers in Berlin
The world of work heads for radical transformation! Generative AI (Gen AI) plays a key role in which the future of the entry jobs in companies looks like. According to a brand new study by the Capgemini Research Institute entitled "Gen Ai at Work: Shaping the Future of Organizations", this revolutionary technology could not only catapult the career opportunities of young professionals to a new level, but also change the dynamics in companies forever!
Over 80 percent of managers surveyed are convinced: Gen-AI tools could not only save time, but also to start new professional roles! In less than a year, the use of such technologies could increase the efficiency of new professionals by an incredible 18 percent. Imagine what this means for companies - immense productivity gains in no time!
an upheaval in the world of work!
What exactly does that mean for future employees? In a world in which Gen AI is moving in, young professionals could act independently in the future and develop from mere assistance roles to positions with significantly more responsibility. Within the next three years, the profile of entry -level jobs should increasingly reflect that of medium positions. This allows the expected increase in the middle management positions worldwide to over 50 percent!
How will the role of managers change? The support of Gen AI is expected that they can increasingly focus on strategic decisions and the promotion of innovations. And the best thing about it: the managers could "win" up to seven hours more a week! Care by AI could take the pressure of everyday life off their shoulders - but the way there remains rocky.
The great talent and knowledge deficit!
Despite all these groundbreaking possibilities, an alarming problem is the order of the day: the majority of employees do not have the necessary skills to fully exploit the advantages of gene AI! This shows that only 16 percent of the employees receive support to develop AI skills. A huge gap between potential and actual use - companies have to act now!
The survey makes it clear: only 15 percent of managers use gen AI daily! Although 97 percent are experimenting with this future -oriented technology, the results have so far been modest. A rethink is urgently needed! AI as a new "team member" at the side of the employees not only chases fears, but also hopes. The training and further education must now be initiated to exploit the full potential.
Christina Bösenberg from Capgemini explains in emphasis: "Generative AI is not only seen as a tool, but as a strategic partner who offers new perspectives and questions familiar thinking patterns." Now companies have to show that they are ready for this change, because the success in the age of Gen AI depends directly on their ability to make their employees fit for the future!
