With regard to the fact that the police arrested a man and a young person on Saturday night who tried to rob a shop on Perleberger Strasse in Moabit, this can be regarded as a failed robbery. According to initial knowledge, both entered the business at around 11:45 p.m., with the man threatening the 24-year-old employee with a knife and asking for opening the cash register. After the woman entrenched herself in the back of the shop, the young person tried to open the cash register, however. Instead, he grabbed the employee's handbag. When they fled on foot, they were persecuted by a police officer that was out of service and finally arrested on Quitzowstrasse. The knife used was confiscated by the officials, but the 24-year-old's bag was not found. The two suspects were paid to the guard by the police and it is now being investigated against them.
