Family festival in the FEZ: play, be amazed and experience history!

The FEZ Berlin announces an exciting event that is perfect for families. Under the motto "Just play!" A weekend full of creative possibilities and fun is offered. On September 7 and 8, 2024, visitors between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. have the opportunity to experience the diverse activities for only € 3.50 per person (€ 3 for families of two people).

It is a small, fine event that is aimed especially at families with children from two years. During this time, the little ones have the opportunity to make their free time to their heart's content. The program revolves around everything that children love: playing, romping, tinkering and discovering. Meanwhile, parents can relax and enjoy the gastronomic offers while watching their children playing or becoming active themselves.

diverse range of games for the little ones

"Just play!" offers numerous activities that encourage the creativity and discovering spirit of the children. The popular Kadens ball tracks provide a lot of fun, there are also large games such as chess, giant lego and giant memory. A special wooden construction site invites the children to build and create, while the BobbyCar racing track ensures rapid journeys. The hero inner course and a slackline across the forest also ensure that the moments are rich. In the case of suitable temperatures, even a small boat trip could be on the program.

It is the ideal opportunity for parents to treat themselves to a little break and enjoy the time with their children. The concept combines games, fun and also a source of information, because afterwards visitors can visit the exhibition "Susi and we" in the Alice Museum for Children.

an important topic in the exhibition

On Sunday, September 8, 2024, the topic of civil courage and the handling of exclusion in the special exhibition “Susi and we” will be dealt with. This is based on Birgitta Behr's book template and tells the true story of Susi Collms, a Jewish child who had to hide from the Nazis in Berlin in the 1940s.

In the exhibition, the bridge is beaten between the past and the present. Topics such as civil courage and Jewish life today play a central role. This exhibition not only offers an interesting perspective on history, but also stimulates important considerations about current life.

The combination of a playful event and a profound exhibition makes “just play!” to an important event that offers both entertainment and education.

Further information on the event and the exhibition are available on the FEZ Berlin website, where you can also book the tickets.
