Das christliche Kinder- und Jugendhilfswerk Die Arche hat hier eine Woche lang 120 Kinder aus sozial schwachen Haushalten in Berlin zu Gast. Für die meisten der jungen Teilnehmer sind diese fünf Tage der einzige Urlaub, den sie in ihren sechswöchigen Sommerferien machen können. For most of the young participants, these five days are the only vacation that you can take during your six -week summer vacation. It is all the more important that you can have many new experiences during this time and can simply switch off.

One of them is the nine -year -old Stari. It takes part in such a camp for the first time and is full of anticipation. Together with the other children, he actively helps prepare the campfire for the next day. There is a lot to do for the young camper: from the preparation of food to various game and handicrafts to the togetherness of them, you will be offered a varied program.

The ark has been committed to disadvantaged children and adolescents for many years. The offer is aimed at families who are affected by poverty and suffer from difficult living conditions.
