Urgent need for action: Free voters on the migration crisis in the EU

urgent wake -up call from Berlin! The migration crisis in Europe reaches a critical point, and the free voters are now demanding determined measures! MEP Engin eroglu mdep (Renew Europe, Free Voters) raises the alarm: "It cannot be that migration control only begins inside the EU, while people have long since exceeded our borders!" Active border controls and a clear strategy are necessary, and that immediately!

A situation that can no longer be accepted! Eroglu demands that the clarification of the origin or status of the migrants must take place at the outskirts of the European Union- better still in third countries. "We need physical external borders and comprehensive financial and diplomatic support from the EU to regulate the pressure!"

The central demand: increased returns! Apparently the EU has been haphazard since 2015 on an urgent topic! "In the migration and asylum package, the return is missing as a central component. An unacceptable state!", Esoglu is outraged. The lengthy asylum procedures and the measly return rate are no longer portable! Freedom, security and order in Germany are at stake!

The free voters set at speed: "Asylum procedures have to be accelerated! Returns must be massively expanded!" And while the authorities are hesitation, the asylum seekers are caught in a queue that no one wants to accept. Efficiency and clear rules are indispensable to tame migration pressure.

But that's not all! Eroglu also emphasizes the need for quick integration into the labor market. "We have to offer the migrants a concrete perspective in Germany! We need immediate measures to strengthen internal security and to restore the trust of citizens in migration control," demands the MEP urgently.

It is high time for a clear and determined policy that takes both the humanitarian aspects and the security concerns of citizens seriously. The free voters are on the front line in the fight for effective migration control - and that has to be done immediately!
