Democracy has reason to celebrate! On October 17, 2024 the time had come in Berlin: A triumph for the democratic spirit! Philip Morris GmbH honored three extraordinary initiatives in an impressive ceremony that are tirelessly committed to our society. The winners - "Desden", "Schalom and Salam" from Stuttgart and the "Constitutional Blog - Thuringia Project" - were awarded the Power for Democracy Award and received an impressive 20,000 euros in prize money!

The event not only marked the award of these outstanding projects, but also began with the presentation of an informative life reality study: "How we really live" - a look at the political attitudes of the Germans, which formed the basis for the subsequent panel discussion "Time for [Democracy]". Together with the ZEIT publishing group, ideas for strengthening our democracy were discussed.
