according to a report by www.tagesspiegel.de , the green area office of the Neukölln district is planning a comprehensive renewal of the Rudower Fließes. In addition to the renovation of the promenade path and the entire green area from Neuköllner Straße to the city limits, around 4,000 square meters of parking paths are also to be renovated and bordered with wooden edges.
The playground on the site is also to be renewed and it is planned to set up a Calisthenics system that enables citizens to train outdoors. Other measures mentioned in the tender are seed and planting work, the installation of parking benches and waste containers.
These planned measures are expected to be completed by the end of 2024. The renovation of the Rudower Fließes will help to improve the nature experience for the Berlin citizens and to protect the local environment.
