A festive shine breaks in over Berlin! On Monday, November 25, 2024, at 6 p.m. , the 41st Christmas market at the magnificent Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church will open with a solemn bang. Together with the AG City and the Showmenverband Berlin e. V. are the ruling mayor Kai Wegner and district councilor Oliver Schruoffeneger ready to initiate this magical moment in the "Hirschstube" on Breitscheidplatz.

But that's not just a happy celebration! During a traditional tour of the magical Christmas market, the victim of the cruel terrorist attack of December 19, 2016 is also held. At the memorial "The Riss", 13 white roses are solemnly laid down, which are reminiscent of the unforgettable souls that were lost. A moving sign of memory and solidarity in the middle of the festive hustle and bustle.
