Tennis courts on Harbigstrasse from April 2024 can be used free of charge from April 2024

tennis games will be possible again in four places at Harbigstraße 34 in Berlin from April 1, 2024. The use of the places is free of charge for the citizens: on the inside, but depending on the weather. Registrations for the places are possible from March 21, 2024, either personally on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the multi-purpose room of the "Julius Hirsch sports facility" or by phone at 0175-66 05 919 for the current week and at most two weeks in advance. The occupancy plans can be viewed on the Harbigstraße 34 sports facility.

Unfortunately, no toilets, washing opportunities or changing rooms are currently available, so players should be prepared accordingly.

The resumption of playing tennis in these places could be a welcome opportunity for tennis players: inside the area, to train their skills and to act physically. This initiative could also help promote social interaction in the community and the residents: to encourage a more active lifestyle inside.

The Julius Hirsch sports facility has a historical importance because it is named after the Jewish football player Julius Hirsch, who was victim of the Holocaust during the Second World War. His memory is kept alive through this sports facility in Berlin.

It would be interesting to add a table with information about the utilization of the tennis courts or the opening times of the system to give the reader a better overview inside. This additional information could help readers: to better inform inside and to facilitate their interaction with the sports facility.
