Carolin Kebekus: Special price for strong use for children's rights

(Duisburg, 30.10.2024) Here the heart knocks for children's rights! The well-known comedian Carolin Kebekus is awarded the special prize of the Kindenothilfe Medien Prize! With her special broadcast #Children's Studies, she torn the spectators out of the routine in order to put an important topic in the spotlight. "Children have a voice and it is our common responsibility to ensure that this voice is heard," emphasizes the award winner.

The price and its meaning

The special price of the Kinderothilfe is anything but an ordinary price - he honors outstanding achievements that focus on child rights. With 5,000 euros, this price is also financially a statement for child protection! The glamorous award ceremony took place in Berlin on November 15, where not only Kebekus was honored, but also other awards such as the "Story on Stage" and the "Prize of the Children's Jury".

The Kinderothilfe is one of the greatest Christian child rights organizations in Europe and does incredible! More than 2.2 million children in 36 countries are protected, strengthened and encouraged. The media award for children's rights has been awarded since 1999, and this year the award ceremony is under the patronage of Federal Minister Svenja Schulze.

This award not only brings joy, but also an important message: the voice of the children must be heard! You are the future - and it is high time that we will give you a hearing!
