On October 3, 2024, committed citizens gather in the historic copper hall in Leipzig for an exciting community talk, organized by Phoenix and Deutschlandfunk. Under the provocative title "United and yet different - does the east go its own way?" the stage is opened for lively discussions about the unique challenges and developments in the new federal states. It is a meeting that sends a clear message 34 years after reunification: Identity and regional differences are still of great importance!
From 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., citizens have the opportunity to raise their voice and to step into a dialogue with politicians. Questions about identity and political currents are discussed that shape the East. These debates are not only necessary, they are crucial for understanding our national reality!
