Shots in Mitte: Army escalated, police are on the perpetrator hunting!
In the night of today, there was a dramatic incident in Berlin-Mitte when the police were called to Friedrichstrasse for shot. According to initial investigations, it all started around 0:30 a.m. with a verbal dispute between two men, 34 and 44 years old, and a group of people on the sidewalk. The dispute, which was agreed to clarify existing conflicts, quickly escalated. A man from the group pulled a firearm and hit the 34-year-old in the face. The situation became even more delighted when at least two men from the group made several shots towards the two men - luckily to meet them.
The perpetrators fled with vehicles towards Kommandantenstrasse. The injured 34-year-old was treated on site by rescue workers. The police immediately initiated measures and searched a restaurant on Kommandantstrasse, where neither the suspects nor suspect could be found. A piece of evidence - a cartridge sleeve - was secured at the scene of the crime. It is the subject of the ongoing investigation by a special police commission whether it was a sharp or a waffle weapon.
