Shock accident in Neukölln: Four injured in intersection drama!

Last night a terrible traffic accident shook Neukölln! At around 9:20 p.m., a 46-year-old Renault driver crashed into a BMW driven by a 27-year-old at the intersection of Joseph-Schmidt-Straße/Sonnenallee. The fatal crash happened when the Renault driver ignored the right of way and narrowly avoided a stationary car. Tragically, the occupants of the BMW - including a 22-year-old and a 21-year-old - were anything but careful, leading to this devastating collision.

The consequences are dramatic: the Renault driver and the passenger of the BMW had to be taken to hospital with serious head injuries. The 22-year-old was even resuscitated! While the other two occupants were treated on an outpatient basis, both vehicles were wrecked after the crash. The Berlin fire brigade and the city cleaning service were on duty to secure the scene of the accident and to remove spilled operating materials. The accident site was closed for around 45 minutes, which also affected the M41 bus route. The police have now taken over the investigation.
