Elsenstraße 1, 12435 Berlin, Deutschland - Last night a dramatic traffic accident occurred in Alt-Treptow, in which a 31-year-old cyclist was injured. Around 6:10 p.m., a 53-year-old bus driver at the intersection Elsenstraße/Am Treptower Park turned right with a BVG bus. The bus driver had apparently overlooked the cyclist, who crossed the pedestrian festival in red light. Despite an immediate danger braking of the driver, there was a tragic collision in which the woman got under the bus and suffered multiple injuries.

rescue workers were quickly on site and took the seriously injured cyclist to a hospital where she was treated inpatient. Fortunately, according to initial information, there is no danger to life. The investigation into the course of the accident is adopted by a specialist commissioner for traffic offenses of the police department 3 (East).
