Knife attack in Wedding: Police outsmart aggressive perpetrators!

In the night from Monday to Tuesday, a 42-year-old man was arrested in his house in Wedding by special forces after threatening with a knife. The incident came about when a 21-year-old, whose cell phone had previously been stolen, found the alleged perpetrator. At around 10:10 p.m. he knocked on the suspect's window, which immediately reacted aggressively and with a knife glued to a rod to the friend of the 21-year-old.

When the alarmed emergency services arrived, the 42-year-old barricaded himself in his apartment and threatened her through the door with other knife stings. After several attempts to contact had failed, the special task force was called and violently opened the door. The suspect was overwhelmed and arrested with an electro pulse device. As he was medical care, he was brought to a psychiatric institution due to his striking behavior. The police opened investigations into theft, threat and attempted dangerous bodily harm. When searching the apartment, the crime knife and another knife were secured.
