Gleisdreieck, Berlin, Deutschland - Last night the police in Kreuzberg arrested a 29-year-old who threatened a 60-year-old with a knife. Around 5:35 p.m., a policewoman informed her colleagues, who stayed near Yorkstrasse, about the threatening situation in a park on the Gleisdreieck. The young man had a knife in his hand and followed his 60-year-old victim, who went for a walk with his dog and carried a star of David around his neck. In doing so, he insulted him anti -Semitic and made stable movements in his direction with the knife.
The incoming forces approached the attacker, one of the officials was ready with his gun. When the 29-year-old noticed the police officers, he dropped his knife and was immediately brought to the ground. After the arrest, he was taken into police custody in order to determine his personal details and to carry out a judiciary. He was then hospitalized and is now inpatient in a psychiatric department. The state protection of the State Criminal Police Office has taken over the investigation.
