Sachsendamm, 10829 Berlin, Deutschland - Yesterday afternoon, around 3 p.m., there was a dramatic traffic accident in Schöneberg. A 55-year-old cyclist sat on his e-bike when an unknown e-scooter driver suddenly turned right at the entrance of a furniture store and rammed the cyclist. The impact was violent and both men rushed to the ground.

The e-scooter driver left the cyclist injured and quickly fled from the scene of the accident. The cyclist suffered a painful hip fracture and several skin abrasions on legs and arms. He had to be taken to a hospital immediately where he is now being treated inpatient. A specialized commissioner of the police department has taken over the investigation into the incident, and the search for the fleeting e-scooter driver has already started.
