In a shocking turn of the events, there was brutal assault on two men on Tuesday evening in the Baumschulenweg. Around 9 p.m., a 35-year-old and a 40-year-old initially got into verbal clashes with two unknown perpetrators on the banks of the new Krugallee. The situation escalated when the attackers grabbed the 35-year-old, choked him and pressed his head under water. The 40-year-old, who wanted to help his friend, was attacked against his head in one fell swoop.
