The “last generation” blockade campaigns have so far employed well over 30,000 police officers in Berlin this year. According to a response from the Berlin Interior Administration to a parliamentary request from the AfD parliamentary group in the Berlin House of Representatives, 34,269 police forces were used in the adhesive campaigns, which included 283,792 hours of use. These figures are already significantly higher than the figures of the entire previous year, in which 251,714 hours of operations were registered because of the activists of the "last generation". In 2022, no breakdown could take place according to the number of forces used. Since January 24, 2022, the blockade actions of the “last generation” have been recorded separately.

In addition, 1,104 suspicious persons were determined by October 4 of this year, of whom 588 multi -fachters were. There was criminal charges for property damage, common damage to property and resistance to enforcement officers. 132 emergency vehicles from the Berlin fire brigade were also stopped during the street blocks. The complete evacuation of a blockade took an average of about two hours.

The latest blockages took place on Saturday on the street of June 17, where climate demonstrating had stuck. The police estimated the number of participants at 600, while the "last generation" spoke of 1,400 participants. The police cleared the road around 2 p.m. after it was on site before the start of the campaign and could quickly remove some demonstrators off the street. After that, the police held back temporarily and viewed the campaign as an approved assembly. The police hours for this use are not yet recorded in the statistics.

On Monday there were some blockages in Berlin again.
