The Autobahn GmbH of the federal government has released current traffic information for the A4, A9 and A71 motorways. In the direction of Aachen, the driveway of the Gera-Langenberg junction on A4 from April 15, 2024 to April 26, 2024 is closed. The reason for this is renovation work. The traffic is directed past the blocked driveway to the opposite driveway in the direction of Görlitz, led via it to the Gera junction and turns back in the direction of Aachen. In addition, on the Aachen directional lane between the Gera and Rüdersdorf junctions, the first and second lane from April 15, 2024 to April 25, 2024 are blocked. Here, too, renovation work is carried out and traffic is guided past the construction site in two lanes and if necessary.
on the A9, the lederhosen junction from April 15, 2024 to May 31, 2024 is blocked in both directions. The reason is the lane renewal of the B175. Traffic is diverted via the Triptis junction.
on the A71, from April 15, 2024 to April 29, 2024, on the Sangerhausen directional lane between the Erfurt-Nord and Sömmerda-Süd junctions first occurs to block the load track and then to block the fast lane. Here, too, a roadway renewal is carried out and traffic is passed past the construction site via the remaining lane.
In addition, on the Sangerhausen directional lane between the Sömmerda-Ost and Kölleda junctions from April 15, 2024 to April 18, 2024, lane reduction due to repair work on the road. The traffic is passed past the construction site on each side, whereby there can be impairments.
These blocks and restrictions in traffic are expected to have an impact on regional traffic. Commuters from Berlin, who are traveling towards Aachen, Gera or Sangerhausen, should consider alternative routes or observe the specified detours to avoid delays.
