21-year-old attacked and robbed in Berlin-Neukölln
A 21-year-old was the victim of a brutal robbery in Berlin-Neukölln on Monday afternoon. Fortunately, the Berlin police were able to arrest a 20-year-old suspect.

The attack occurred around 5 p.m. in Sonnenallee corner Reuterstrasse. Suddenly the 21-year-old faced a group of six men, some of whom he only knew fleetingly. One of the men is said to have pulled him to the ground on the hood. Then the entire group joined the young man several times, both against the head and against the body. As if that weren't enough, the 20-year-old also choked him from behind.

Fortunately, unknown passers -by intervened and prevented worse. The moment the 21-year-old wanted to flee, the 20-year-old hurt him superficially with a knife on his hip. Then the group fled towards Sonnenallee.

The police, however, were able to arrest the 20-year-old suspect a short time later. The victim recognized him again. When searching the arrested, the officials found the stolen cell phone of the 21-year-old and the knife, presumably used in the crime. Both objects were secured.

The 21-year-old suffered injuries to the head, fuselage and the hip, but refused medical treatment. The suspect was identified and subjected to a blood sample before being handed over to the criminal police.

This incident once again shows how important it is to be aware of in dangerous situations and provide help. Passers -by who intervened in this case were significantly involved in preventing worse. The Berlin police were also able to act quickly and arrest the suspect.

It is hoped that the investigations by the criminal police will lead to further arrests and the perpetrators will be brought to court. The attack in Berlin-Neukölln again shows that caution is also required in supposedly safe environments. Everyone should be aware that such violent acts can happen everywhere and it is important to stand up for the security and well -being of others.
