20 years ago, on March 18, 2004, the Berlin company AVM presented the first Fritz! Box at the CeBIT computer fair and thus made the beginning of the home network. Since then, the FRITZ! Box has revolutionized how people use the Internet at home. From its introduction to today, the “everything in one device” principle has proven itself, and the FRITZ! Box has users in over 40 countries. In Germany, more than half of the households now use a FRITZ! Box. In the past 20 years, AVM has developed around 90 models at the headquarters in Berlin and produced over 60 million devices in Germany and Europe.

The FRITZ! Box has continuously developed since the early days with DSL for up to 8 Mbit/s and today supports fiber optic connections with up to 10 Gbit/s. It has been the heart of the digital home for two decades and tirelessly sets new standards.
