Wiesbadener R+V receives educational prize for innovative school cooperations

Wiesbaden, September 20, 2024 - a sensational award for R+V Versicherung! The Wiesbaden insurer triumphs at the Education Congress of the German Insurance Industry (Biko) in Berlin and receives the prestigious Innoward Education Prize 2024 . And that is no coincidence! The R+V is awarded for its groundbreaking cooperation with three student cooperatives that surprise, inspire and promote the potential of the young generation!

A real showcase project! The student cooperatives, which are founded and managed by the students themselves, radically develop new business ideas. You write business plans, set up organizational structures and take care of the financing of your companies. Products and services? They are not only sold at school, but also beyond! This not only learns entrepreneurship, but the students are prepared for a lively career in professional life!

"We have created a project from which both students and we as a company can benefit," explains Jens Hasselbächer, board member for customers and sales. And it cannot be overlooked that the R+V with 1st place in the initial training category really cleared! The educational prize is awarded for the 20th time and the competition was anything but low.

But the R+V knows how to inspire the next generation! And thanks to their initiatives, the path is paved for many young talents. Nadja Sauerwein, Head of Talent Management, confirms: "With the commitment to school cooperatives, we create a win-win situation"-schools are expanding their profile and students learn valuable economic and entrepreneurial skills!

The R+V not only relies on the price, but also on the future! Not only is it invested, but valuable conversations with school management and teachers are also held. Workshops and information meetings ensure that the student cooperatives can continue to grow.

The enthusiasm at R+V is tangible! "Student genes are just cool," enthuses André Dörfler, innovation manager at R+v. And that's more than a trend - it's a movement! The cooperative idea becomes alive and the students are proof of this!

Currently there are already three strong cooperation: the first student cooperative, the Greenleibniz ESG, was created at the Leibniz School Wiesbaden. This was followed by Adorno's vision ESG at the Adorno-Gymnasium in Frankfurt and the Hela-Nature ESG at the Helene Lange School in Wiesbaden. And the R+V does not have enough! Further collaborations are planned!
