In contrast to some of my friends and also to my husband, who is now truly not a foodie, I have never been eating in a three-star restaurant. It's not so easy to justify what I do here, even without a three-star dinner. Eating and being paid for it? Who can you explain that? Every weighing is pointless.
But all of this changed when I got the opportunity to dine in a renowned three-star restaurant. Curious and full of anticipation for new taste experiences I went on a culinary journey of discovery of the extra class.
The restaurant where I was able to be a guest offered a unique atmosphere. The reception was impressive: the interior was elegant and tastefully designed without losing cosiness. The tables were perfectly covered with fine dishes, shiny silver cutlery and noble flower arrangements. The attention of detail was noticeable.
Now it was finally the highlight of the evening - the food. The menu, which was created by a renowned chef, presented a variety of dishes that already stimulated my taste buds while reading. I decided on the tasting menu that promised a selection of creative and sophisticated delicacies.

And I also have to admit that the price for such an experience is certainly not affordable for everyone. However, one should consider that it is much more than a simple meal. It is an experience that you can enjoy as a guest with all your senses and redefined the culinary borders.
For me personally, a visit to a three-star restaurant has further strengthened my love for the upscale cuisine. It inspired me to explore new aromas and ingredients and encourage me to live out more creatively in my own kitchen.
