Beware of storms: thunderstorm for Berlin and Brandenburg
storm alarm Berlin and Brandenburg
The residents of Berlin and Brandenburg are once again threatened by storms that are emerging in the region. The German Weather Service has warned of possible heavy rain and gusts of wind that could occur on Friday.
Today's storms can bring up to 80 liters of rain per square meter and speeds of up to 75 kilometers per hour. However, whether these forecasts will occur remains uncertain.
The temperatures start with sultry-hot 29 degrees and a dry but cloudy tomorrow. During the day there is a risk of local rainfall, hail and stormy conditions that should last until night. The temperatures will cool down to 16 degrees at night.
On Saturday, the thunderstorms should slowly pull off, but it remains cloudy with a maximum temperatures of 25 degrees. The night temperatures drop to 11 degrees. On Sunday it should be cheerful, with similar temperatures as the day before the week ends sunny.
The youngest storms are reminiscent of the events of Wednesday when Berlin was hit by strong thunderstorms. There were about 60 weather -related fire brigade missions, including in the Berlin city library in Mitte, where the basement was flooded.
The renewed storm warnings show how important it is to pay attention to the recommendations of the German Weather Service in order to safely navigate through these capsoles of weather.
