Celebrate the variety: Steglitz-Zehlendorf invites you to the Pride celebration!

Brittendorfer Weg 16, 14167 Berlin, Deutschland - Today, on June 27, 2025, the highly expected Pride Month in Berlin begins. The Pride Month, who is celebrated from June 27 to July 27, 2025, is under the motto "Celebrate diversity - be visible!". The AG Gender Steglitz-Zehlendorf invites all queer adolescents aged 12 to 21 to take part in a diverse program. These events are free of charge and open to all solidarity supporters of the queer community.

As part of the Pride Month, a number of events are offered that create space for creativity and exchange. These include:

  • 25. June: Queerer Dance Workshop, 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m., JFE Schottenburg, Brittendorfer Weg 16, 14167 Berlin
  • 09. July: DIY Pride Sticker, 3-19 p.m., Q*Lub Outreach, Paulsenstraße 22, 12163 Berlin
  • 16. July: Picknick in the Steglitz City Park, 4-18 p.m., meeting point: Springbrunnen in the Steglitz city park (it is also possible)
  • 23. July: CSD posters painting, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Villa Folke Bernadotte, Jungfernstieg 19, 12207 Berlin
  • 24. July: Make buttons, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Q Zephir’s Queersspace, Anhalterstrasse 7, 14163 Berlin

support in challenging times

The Pride Month is particularly highlighted this year, since the Queere Community is confronted with various challenges. The right -wing extremist party #noafD received over 20 percent of the votes in the last federal election. This development means that many queer projects that have received more support in the past are now under pressure. The Self -Determination Act could also be evaluated in a prejudiced context and a clear attitude against discrimination is more necessary than ever.

The thematic focus of the Pride Month 2025 are:

  • crisis -resistant community: support of the queer community under pressure.
  • loud against hate: fighting queer hostility.
  • activism & attitude: promotion of queer activism.

variety of events

June has a long tradition in Berlin as a month of the LGBTQIA+ celebrations, which goes back to the 1920s. The events of the Pride Months include cultural events, political discussions, parties and workshops, whereby the focus of Christopher Street Day is the largest event. This year the Pride Month is also opened by the Stonewall Day, which is reminiscent of the Stonewall uprisings.

The Pride House in the Moabit Poststadion will act as a safe space throughout the month, a place that is intended for encounters and discussions. Visitors are encouraged to behave respectfully to carry enough water and carry comfortable shoes, especially in view of the numerous events that will take place in the city.

For more information on specific events, interested parties can visit the Instagram channels of the institutions involved, such as "https://www.instagram.com/hausderjugendzehlendorf"> @hausderjugendzehlendorf , @mobiles living room and @Q_queerspace . The aim of these activities is to create visibility and safe spaces for young queer people and to strengthen solidarity within the community.
