A whole new meeting point for conversations and community opens its gates! On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, the weekly discussion offer "Cemetery Splowing" starts in Berlin. Between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., the Waldfriedhof Oberschöneweide opens its doors to everyone who is looking for dialogue. Here is not only space to commemorate, but also for emotional conversations!

The offer is completely free of charge and invites everyone to talk about personal topics such as loss, loneliness or the challenges of everyday life for a cup of coffee or tea. A golden opportunity to find support and experience community!

The "cemetery splosen" is an innovative project that wants to help you make everyday life a bit easier. The event is organized in cooperation with the quality development, planning and coordination office of the district office and the Catholic parish of St. Josef Treptow-Köpenick of the Archdiocese of Berlin. The cemetery becomes not only a place of farewell, but also a space of the exchange and encounter.
