New construction of a 2-field sports hall in Stillerzeile 100 is progressing according to the plan

Eine Schule, die 1970 in der Stillerzeile 100 eröffnet wurde, hat nach Jahren der Nichtnutzung eine neue Bestimmung gefunden. Ursprünglich bestand der Schulstandort aus einem 5-geschossigen Schulgebäude, einer 1-Feld-Sporthalle und einem Schulhof. Im Jahr 2003 wurde der Schulbetrieb eingestellt und die Sporthalle wurde in eine Eishockeyhalle umgewandelt. Nun wird der Schulstandort reaktiviert und als 2,5-zügige Grundschule genutzt. Dies umfasst die Komplettsanierung und bauliche Erweiterung des bestehenden Schulgebäudes sowie den Neubau einer 2-Feld-Sporthalle für Schul- und Vereinsnutzung. Die Außenanlagen werden ebenfalls umfassend barrierefrei umgestaltet. Die Bauarbeiten sind in vollem Gange, wobei der Rohbau der Sporthalle voraussichtlich im Juni 2024 abgeschlossen sein …

The school location originally consisted of a 5-storey school building, a 1-field sports hall and a schoolyard. In 2003 the school was discontinued and the sports hall was converted into an ice hockey hall. Now the school location is reactivated and used as a 2.5-day primary school. This includes the complete renovation and structural expansion of the existing school building as well as the construction of a 2-field sports hall for school and association use. A school that was opened in the silent line 100 in 1970 has found a new provision after years of non -use. The school location originally consisted of a 5-storey school building, a 1-field sports hall and a schoolyard. In 2003 the school was discontinued and the sports hall was converted into an ice hockey hall.

Now the school location is reactivated and used as a 2.5-day primary school. This includes the complete renovation and structural expansion of the existing school building as well as the construction of a 2-field sports hall for school and association use. The outdoor facilities are also comprehensively redesigned.

The construction work is in full swing, whereby the shell of the sports hall is expected to be completed in June 2024. The new sports hall and the outdoor areas are built between the Erpetal landscape protection area and the residential area development along the Stillerzeile. The architecture of the building takes into account the topographical slope and avoids sound entries in the adjacent residential development.

The total costs for the project amount to € 28,950 million and are financed from investment funds from the State of Berlin and Siwa middle. The measure is managed by SE Facility Management Department of Building Construction in the Treptow-Köpenick district and planned by the architectural firm Thoma Architects.

The new building of the sports hall should be completed by the end of 2025, while the entire measure, including the outdoor facilities, is to be completed by the end of 2027. The topping -out ceremony of the sports hall took place on Monday, May 27th, 2024, at 10 a.m.
