On September 20, 2024 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., the Baergarten at Schnellstraße 137 in Berlin invites you to a special international summer festival. This year the event is all about sustainability and the 17 sustainability goals of the United Nations (UN). A highlight of the festival will be the presentation of the Turkish twin town of Eskişehir-Teepebaşı, which together with Treptow-Köpenick took first place in the “Urban Sustainability and Climate Protection” competition.
The visitors have the opportunity to get to know the living city of Eskişehir-Teepebaşı. The guests from Turkey will present various projects and activities that contribute to promoting sustainability. In an exciting live panel discussion entitled "Is sustainability only for rich?" can ask questions and win exciting insights from experts.
