Design Alt-Treptow! Now take part in the neighborhood survey!

The district office Treptow-Köpenick has launched a survey that invites all residents of Alt-Treptow to express their opinions and needs. The neighborhood survey Alt-Treptow serves no lower purpose than to make the neighborhood future-proof. The survey is part of a strategy -oriented initiative that aims to actively develop and improve the area.

Alt-Treptow, the only district part within the S-Bahn ring, has a striking character, but also faces challenges. These challenges include both socially spatial and climatic changes that the community has to face. With the survey, the district government tries to precisely grasp perceptions, concerns and needs of the citizens. The focus is particularly on questions about the use of public spaces and the important role of Schmollerplatz as a central meeting point.

Details on the survey

The survey takes about 15 minutes and is completely anonymous. Anyone who lives in Alt-Treptow is invited to share their personal impressions of the quarter with others. In this way, a comprehensive mood is created about the neighborhood, which serves the district administration as a representative basis.

District City Councilor Dr. Claudia Leistner emphasizes: "With this survey, we would like to actively involve the people on site in the design of their neighborhood and jointly develop solutions for the future of Alt-Treptow." Such initiatives are of great importance to actively involve citizens in the development process.

The survey is available in both German and English and can be reached online. If participants need support when filling out the survey, you can contact the contact point for citizen participation. From October 01, 2024, a printed version in the Kiezklub Gerard Philipe, Karl-Getzer-Straße 30, 12435 Berlin, will also be ready.

The format of the survey also offers numerous opportunities for expression on the local quality of life and the use of public places. The survey will be carried out by November 10, 2024 and represents an important step towards a joint participation of the district.

Participation is a simple but effective way to bring your own voice into the development process of the neighborhood. For the link to the survey and further information, please visit www.berlin.de .
