EU election analysis: Cake*Talks to the party landscape in Europe
On Thursday, July 4th, 2024, the third event of Cake*Talks will take place in the villa in Berlin-Schöneweide. This event invites you to get together at an ice cream cake and analyze the results of the EU election. In particular, the results of the extreme rights in different European countries are to be considered and their effects on future cooperation at European level should be discussed.
The event takes place offensive in the garden of the barrier-free villa and is part of a series of events for the historical-political educational work in Treptow-Köpenick. It is informed that persons who contain right -wing parties or organizations who can be assigned to the right -wing extremist scene or have already noticed access to the event by racist, nationalist, nationalist, anti -Semitic or other inhuman statements.
The series of events is a cooperation project of several organizations in Treptow-Köpenick, including the Center for Democracy Treptow-Köpenick, partnerships for democracy Treptow-Köpenick, Schöneweide and Altglienicke (offensive'91 e. V.), Mamis en Movimiento e. V., Documentation Center NS forced labor, Museums Treptow-Köpenick and the district office Treptow-Köpenick-Political Education.
In today's political landscape, it is more important than ever to actively deal with the results of elections and to reflect on society. Events such as Cake*Talks offer a platform for exchange and discussion about current political issues and developments.
