Engagement Prize 2024: Stars of the year in Treptow-Köpenick wanted!

The Starfischer Volunteer Center Treptow-Köpenick and the social welfare office Treptow-Köpenick have launched the “Stars 2024” engagement award. Up to three people or organizations that work for solidarity, variety and against right -wing extremists as well as inhuman attitudes are to be awarded. The application period runs until May 31, 2024, and interested parties can apply via the online form on the website of the Sternenfischer Volunteer Center.

The jury, consisting of members of the District of the Treptow-Köpenick district, will select the award winners. The award ceremony will take place on September 17, 2024 at a public event. The excellent receive a sculpture, a screen printing and a certificate, but the price itself is not endowed.

The initiative thus rewards the outstanding commitment of individuals and organizations that make a contribution to promoting solidarity and diversity in Treptow-Köpenick. The focus is on combating right -wing extremists and inhuman attitudes.

In a table, for example, previous winners and their projects could be listed in order to illustrate the variety of excellent engagements. Historical facts about the development of commitment prices in the region could also provide context to the creation of the “Stars of 2024” price.
