The 50th Berlin senior week is just around the corner, which will take place from June 22nd to June 29th 2024. Under the motto "Designing the future together", numerous offers from Treptow-Köpenick offer a wide range of events that enrich the Berlin-wide program of the senior week. The district councilor for social issues, health, work and participation, Carolin Weingart, as well as the chairman of the senior citizens' representative, Wolfgang Berger, are pleased with the variety of offers that serve to strengthen the cohesion between different age groups and especially for senior citizens. The 50th Berlin senior week is just around the corner, which will take place from June 22nd to June 29th, 2024. Under the motto "Designing the future together", numerous offers from Treptow-Köpenick offer a wide range of events that enrich the Berlin-wide program of the senior week. The district councilor for social issues, health, work and participation, Carolin Weingart, as well as the chairman of the senior citizens' representative, Wolfgang Berger, are pleased with the variety of offers that serve to strengthen the cohesion between different age groups and especially for senior citizens.

Carolin Weingart emphasizes the importance of this year's motto in relation to the major challenges in the field of care, supportive offers and the protection of older people. She emphasizes that these challenges can only be mastered together and in solidarity and praises the well-equipped offers in Treptow-Köpenick, especially in the eleven municipal neighborhood clubs in which people work for one another.

Wolfgang Berger, chairman of the senior citizens' representative, emphasizes the community lived in the neighborhood clubs and encourages all senior citizens to use the possibilities that are offered there. The senior week offers a good opportunity to get to know and use these offers.

The solemn opening event of the senior week takes place on June 20, 2024 at 10 a.m. in the popup of the America memorial library. Here there will be a professional input on the "age issues of the future" and an exchange about the motto "Design future together".
