Central library Schöneberg expanded opening times - more space for reading and learning!

The Schöneberg focus library is warmly welcomed by Saturday visitors

The Schöneberg focus library, also known as the "Theodor Heuss library", is expanding its Saturday opening times from August 10, 2024. From then on, visitors have the opportunity to visit the library every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. - four additional hours compared to the previous opening hours.

This decision came in response to the needs of library visitors who had wished for an extension of the opening hours to have even more space to read, learn and linger.

During the extended opening times, visitors are available to the library team with the usual service. However, from 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays, some services such as new registrations, fee payments and certain borrowing are limited. However, the loan and return of media at self-defense devices, the use of internet and PC workstations as well as printers and copies are still possible until 7:00 p.m.

The Schöneberg center library cordially invites all citizens to use the extended opening times and to experience the library as a meeting point on Saturdays.

The library team will be happy to provide further information and look forward to numerous visitors from August 10, 2024.
