Climate protection in Tempelhof-Schöneberg: New VHS course starts
The press release No. 058 of 01.03.2024 informs about the "Klimafit" course in Tempelhof-Schöneberg, which deals with the topic of climate protection. In view of the increasing effects of the climate crisis on the Berlin region, interested parties are encouraged to register for the course in order to learn more about climate protection measures and actively contribute to the protection of the climate.
The course consists of six events, four of them personally on site and two online. Participants have the opportunity to exchange ideas with climate scientists, regional experts and local initiatives. The course is aimed at everyone who wants to get involved in climate protection and offers practical tips for reducing CO2 emissions in everyday life.
By participating in the course, the course participants receive a "climate" certificate, which they characterize as multipliers for municipal climate protection. The course was developed in cooperation with the WWF Germany and the Helmholtz Research Association and funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection.
