Kieztag: exchange market and free handwear for residents!
On October 1, 2024, the BSR Kieztag takes place in Marienfelde, an event that aims to encourage the neighborhood to actively participate in waste prevention and recycling. On this day, residents can bring objects that are no longer needed to the BSR vehicles or take part in the exchange and gibal market.
The BSR employees are ready to accept the taxes and help the citizens to help the organization. For the transportation of their disposal items, visitors to the neighborhood day can borrow handcarts against the deposit at the IB transition home. This should make transport easier and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
additional offers for the neighborhood
To make the event even more attractive, the “Café in the middle” opens its doors to the neighborhood on the site of the IB transition home. Here the residents can exchange ideas on a snack or drink and enjoy the day in a pleasant atmosphere. In addition, two local sewing and handicraft groups present themselves who invite interested parties to learn more about their activities and maybe even become active themselves.
It is important to note that no garden waste and no objects delivered with vehicles can be accepted at the BSR Kieztag. The nearest recycling courtyards of the BSR are available for these materials:
- Gradestrasse 73, 12347 Berlin
- Ostpreussendamm 1, 12207 Berlin
A neighborhood day is an excellent opportunity to get in touch with neighbors and at the same time do something good for the environment. Further information can be found on the BSR website, where the concept of the neighborhood days is also explained in more detail. The BSR Kieztag in Marienfelde promises not only to be a place for the disposal of unwanted objects, but also an opportunity for community education and creative cooperation.
