Benefit concert with symphony and youth orchestras: diversity of music for a good cause.
The symphonic children's orchestra, the youth information orchestra, the Leo Kestenberg Bläser Quintet and the chamber orchestra under the direction of Alexander Ramm will present a diverse concert. The program includes works by Schubert, Nielsen and Pärt, film music from "Curse of the Caribbean" and "Jurassic Park" as well as rock songs by and with "Beckside of Richness".
The orchestra school consists of six teachers and 130 musicians and adolescents. Sample trips in renowned places such as Weikersheim Castle and the youth village of Gnewikow are an integral part of the orchestral work and are supported by the support association of the music school.
The upcoming anniversary concert serves as a benefit event for the Förderverein of the Leo Kestenberg Music School. Tickets for the concert are available at the price of 15/10 euros plus advance booking fees on the eventim website.
Local music schools and orchestras play an important role in promoting talented young musicians. By participating in such orchestras, children and adolescents are given the opportunity to develop their musical talent and appear in a professional environment.
