60 years Theodor-Heuss library in Schöneberg: Festive reviews and cultural diversity
The Theodor Heuss library in Schöneberg celebrates its 60th anniversary and invites everyone interested to a series of events that will be held from May to October. Since its opening in October 1964, the library has made a significant contribution to the development of the library system in Berlin and has developed into a central place of education, culture and encounter in Schöneberg.
The festivities for the 60th anniversary offer the opportunity to honor the importance of the library for the Schöneberger community and the entire city society in the district. District City Council for School, Sport, Continuing Education and Culture Tobias Dollase was pleased with the milestone birthday and emphasized the liveliness and diversity that the center library continues to be.
The series of events from May to October comprises a colorful mix of events that offer an event for every decade of library history. Interested parties are invited to take part in the celebrations and to look back on six decades of committed library work and cultural diversity.
