30-year-old washing house in Marienfelde-Süd: An anniversary of the community

Im Juni 2024 wird das Nachbarschafts- und Selbsthilfezentrum Marienfelde-Süd e.V. sein 30-jähriges Bestehen feiern. Der Verein, auch bekannt als „Altes Waschhaus“, ist seit seiner Gründung im Alten Waschhaus der Degewo in der Waldsassener Straße 40a ansässig und bietet verschiedene Angebote und Veranstaltungen ehrenamtlich für die Bewohner von Marienfelde-Süd an. Ursprünglich im Jahr 1994 als Selbsthilfegruppe zur Wohnumfeldverbesserung gestartet, hat sich der Verein zu einem fest in Marienfelde-Süd verwurzelten ehrenamtlich getragenen Verein entwickelt. Neben den sozialen Aspekten stehen vor allem Geselligkeit und gute Nachbarschaft im Mittelpunkt des Engagements.
