100 years of garden work school: a journey through history

The exhibition of the garden work school of the district office Tempelhof-Schöneberg and the association of the garden work school and the Weinberg Schöneberg e.V. invites visitors to a trip through 100 years of changeable history, based on thematic display boards. The garden work school was founded in 1922 as part of the reform school movement in the Schöneberg southern site in order to bring nature closer to nature. Since then, the garden work school has grown to around 25,000 square meters and offers children the opportunity to learn biological relationships and to practice dealing with nature in practice.

The exhibition shows the historical development of the garden work school and enables an insight into the current work. Visitors can see how the school has changed over the decades and how it still plays an important role today to bring nature closer to children.
